Default I want to farm, but what class?

As the title says, which class and which build are easy enough to understand/master and can farm in a variety of places? I am not too choosy when it comes to a build, as long as its balanced (offense/defense) and the skills are not too scattered around. I have all of the GW line of games so I am not restricted when it comes to skill selection.

Mmmmm. I'd USUALLY suggest Warrior because usually it's the safest tac apart from the 55 monk, but if you farm on a survivor then it's a no-go for it, do HFFF if you are a kurzick survivor.

Easiest to master - 55 monk. Put up bonds and maintain 2-3 enchantments, nothing hard. Some ritualist builds are easy too - 330/105 hp spirit bonders are nice and can farm a lot of places.

Personally, I think the best farmer is the Monk class. It can be 55Hp or 600Hp build. It doesn't take long to get used to and being Monk primary it's versatile - you can be solely Monk and use Shield of judgement, or can be Mo/N to use Spiteful Spirit or Spoil Victor, be Mo/Me to use Illusionary Weapon and the Visages, be Mo/E and use Silver Armor, etc. There are plenty of places to farm, in NM and HM.

All my characters can farm (e.g. 55Hp Monk, 130Hp Dervish, 330Hp Ritualist, 55Hp Necro, 55HP Mesmer, Ele Assassin Shadow Form & Silver Armor, Touch Ranger (good Factions boss killer), etc.). They all have second set of armor, various weapon sets. This allows some variety so I don't get too bored with farming. And I find some classes work better than others in some areas or against a particular boss.

erm....pretty much whatever.

Your skillbar, armor and weapon set for 330Hp farming is one build and what you use for pve-ing is a separate build and can be whatever you want.

When I was took my Rit through Factions and NF, I was mainly a spirit spammer using damage dealing spirits - I rarely played the support/healing role. When I got bored spamming spirits, I switched to a damage dealing Channeler or a splinter barrager. I've even played with being an Assassin secondary to shadow step into mobs to use Ancestors' Rage, Grasping Was Kuurong, etc. for up close and personal AoE.

The proffesion with the the most scope I would probably say is a monk or a warrior. Except warriors tend to be useless at farming without a second proffesion. I DID NOT SAY ALL BUILDS BEFORE YOU COMPLAIN.
